Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani-starrer Satyaprem Ki Katha is slated to release on June 29, 2023. 

The film, directed by Sameer Vidwans, is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala in collaboration with Namah Pictures. 

Satyaprem Ki Katha brings Kartik and Kiara together again after their latest hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film is being touted as a musical love story.

The film was earlier titled Satyanarayan Ki Katha and was recently renamed. The makers had expressed their decision to change the name to avoid hurting sentiments. Satyanarayan Ki Katha translates to the story of Satyanarayan, which is another name for the Hindu god Vishnu. The initial title faced outrage on social media.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Kartik has a slew of projects in the pipeline including, Shehzada, Captain India, Freddy and director Kabir Khan's untitled film. Kiara on the other hand will star opposite Ram Charan in S Shankar’s Telugu film RC 15.
