Amitabh Bachchan tests positive for Covid-19

This is the second time the veteran actor has contracted the coronavirus

Almost two years since first contracting the coronavirus, legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan announced that he tested positive for Covid-19. 

In a tweet, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, "I have just tested CoViD + positive.. all those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also."

Celebrities and fans alike took to social media to express their best wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery of the thespian.

The 79-year-old actor, who was recently seen in Nagraj Manjule's Jhund, is awaiting the release of Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, and has an interesting lineup of projects including Uunchai, Project K, and the Hindi remake of The Intern in various stages of production.
