After Ranveer Singh’s latest nude photoshoot, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have asked the actor to ‘ditch’ his pants again for a campaign.

In a letter shared on social media, Sachin Bangera, Vice President of Celebrity and Public Relations, PETA India, asks Ranveer to follow the footsteps of Anushka Sharma, Joaquin Phoenix, Kartik Aaryan, and Natalie Portman to promote veganism.

“Greetings from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India, the country’s best-known animal rights group, with more than 2 million members and supporters. We saw your head-turning Paper Magazine photo shoot – and we hope you’ll ditch the pants for us, too,” an excerpt read.

The letter added, “To promote compassion for animals, will you consider appearing in a nude PETA India advertisement with the tagline ‘All Animals Have the Same Parts – Try Vegan’? I’ve attached a reference image featuring Pamela Anderson for your perusal.”

Ranveer’s nude photoshoot for Paper Magazine sent shockwaves around the country. While many celebrities cane in support of the actor for his bold choice, an FIR was filed by an NGO against him for “hurting the sentiments of women and insulting their modesty through his photographs.”

On the work front, Ranveer has wrapped up the shoot of Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. He is also awaiting the release of Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus.
