Actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi passed away in Lucknow on Wednesday. As per reports, he was suffering from a heart ailment. He had a heart attack earlier and was shifted to his hometown to recover.

The actor’s son-in-law confirmed the news on social media.

Mithilesh is known for being part of films like Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, Koi Mil Gaya, My Friend Pinto, Phata Poster Nikla Hero, Ready, Satya, Taal, and Fiza among others. He was also an active part of the theatre world. 

He also appeared in TV shows such as Patiala Babes and web shows like Scam 1992 where he played Ram Jethmalani. He last appeared in Gulabo Sitabo with Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana.
