Actor Kartik Aaryan, who was last seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, has begun preparation for his upcoming film, Satyaprem Ki Katha.

In an Instagram story, Kartik posted a picture of him with the team preparing for the film. Kartik and Kiara Advani will reunit in this film after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Satyaprem Ki Katha, is set to release in 2023.

Meanwhile, it may be noted the film, which was earlier called Satyanarayan Ki Katha was recently renamed Satyaprem Ki Katha. Director Sameer Vidwans, who has previously directed the National Award-winning 2019 Marathi drama, Anandi Gopal, is making his Bollywood debut.

The makers expressed their decision to change the name to avoid hurting sentiments. Satyanarayan Ki Katha translates to the story of Satyanarayan, which is another name for the Hindu god Vishnu. The initial title faced outrage on social media.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Kartik has a slew of projects in the pipeline including, Shehzada, Captain India, Freddy and director Kabir Khan's untitled film.
