Salman Khan gets arms license after death threats

After Hindi actor Salman Khan and his father-veteran writer Salim Khan received death threats in June, Mumbai Police has granted permission for a personal gun, according to sources to official sources.

As per reports, in late July, the actor had contacted Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar and requested for a gun license. However, the police had denied the request. However , the application was routed and upon completion of all the formalities, the licence papers for the gun, were handed over on Sunday

In June, Salman Khan and his father had received a death threat, after which the Mumbai Police had tightened security at their Bandra west residence. Subsequently, the actor had requested for a gun license. A note was found with a threat to the Khans, "you will meet the same fate as Moosewala", referring to the Punjabi singer who was shot dead in May.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan will be seen ina cameo appearance in Chiranjeevi's God Father. Salman also has Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.
