Taapsee Pannu-starrer Shabaash Mithu will release in theatres on July 15, 2022.

Directed by Srijit Mukherji, the film is a biopic of Indian cricketer Mithali Dorai Raj. The celebrated skipper of the Indian Women's Cricket Team has a career spanning 23 years, seven consecutive 50s in ODIs and has led India in four World Cups. The story tracks her journey from being an eight-year-old girl with a dream to becoming a cricketing legend.

Shabaash Mithu is written by Priya Aven. The film was shot across domestic and international locations. It is produced by Viacom18 Studios.
