The first wedding pictures of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are out.

In a post, Alia wrote, "Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot - the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married.
With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites.
Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special.

The couple got married in a private ceremony on Thursday in Mumbai. The wedding took place at Ranbir's residence, Vastu, in the Pali Hill locality of Mumbai. It was attended by the actors' family members and friends. Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor, sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, uncle Randhir Kapoor cousins Kareena and Karisma, and actor Saif Ali Khan attended the wedding. From Alia's side, parents Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan, sisters Shaheen Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt graced the occasion. Directors Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji were also present at the wedding.

The mehendi ceremony of Ranbir-Alia was held yesterday, April 13. There are conflicting reports about reception in the coming days. The actors will be seen together in Brahmastra, which is releasing on September 9 this year.
