We had earlier reported about Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor teaming up for a love story titled Bawaal. The film went on floors in Lucknow on Sunday.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari of Dangal fame, Bawaal marks the filmmaker's collaboration with producer Sajid Nadiadwala after the National-award-winning Chhichhore.

Bawaal, scheduled for release on April 7, 2023, will be the first time when Varun and Janhvi will share the screen. The film will be shot across three Indian locations and five European countries, including Paris.

Meanwhile, Varun will next be seen in the Raj Mehta directorial Jug Jugg Jeeyo and Amar Kaushik's Bhediya, co-starring Kriti Sanon. On the other hand, Janhvi has Good Luck Jerry, Mr and Mrs Mahi, and Mili in the pipeline.
