Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are reportedly set to tie the knot in the former's ancestral property in Chembur. Sources quoted by media reports suggest that the couple has informed their close friends and family to be available in the second week of April for the ceremony. It has also been reported that the wedding has been preponed from the last week of April due to the deteriorating health of Alia Bhatt's maternal grandfather, Narendra Nath Razdan.
The couple is set to follow the tradition set by Ranbir's parents Neetu Kapoor and the late Rishi Kapoor. They had tied the knot at the RK House on January 20, 1980. The guest list for the couple's wedding supposedly extends a welcome to 450 members.
Earlier, while speaking to the press during Sharmaji Namkeen, Ranbir had said, "I don’t know when I’m going to get married. We haven’t really decided on a date. But that’s definitely on the cards. We’ve not printed those cards yet, but it is on the cards!"
