Karan Johar is making his directorial comeback with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, went on floors last month.

On Saturday, Karan shared a picture from an indoor set on Instagram. The picture shows his crew adjusting a reflector for a shot. "#shootlife #rockyaurranikipremkahani," Karan wrote.

Besides Ranveer and Alia, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani also has Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in the cast. The film is written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy. It will hit screens in 2022.

Karan's last directorial feature was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016. He also helmed segments in Lust Stories (2018) and Ghost Stories (2020). He was meant to shoot Takht, a big-budget period epic in the Mughal era, as his next. However, the film has been shelved for now.
