Rajkummar Rao and director Anubhav Sinha are set to team up for a new film titled Bheed. 

Reportedly a social drama, the film will be jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Anubhav Sinha's Benaras Mediaworks.

Anubhav Sinha is well known for his socially relevant films like Mulk, Article 15, and Thappad. This is the first time he is collaborating with Rajkummar Rao.

Pre-production works are currently progressing and the makers are planning to start shoot by November. The film will be shot predominantly across Lucknow. 

Besides Bheed, Anubhav Sinha has also completed the shoot of Anek, which marks his reunion with Ayushmann Khuranna.

Rajkummar Rao, meanwhile, is awaiting the release of Hum Do Hamare Do, co-starring Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, and Ratna Pathak Shah. The film is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on October 29.
