Saif Ali Khan has completed shooting for his upcoming film Adipurush. The multilingual epic film, starring Prabhas in the titular role, is a re-telling of Ramayana. 

Adipurush features Prabhas as Rama(Adipurush), Kriti Sanon as Sita and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana (Lankesh). Directed by Om Raut, the film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The team has been extensively shooting for the movie in Hyderabad.

It is directed by Om Raut of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior fame and produced by Bhushan Kumar-led T-Series. 

Adipurush is slated to be released in theatres on August 11, 2022.

Saif, who was last seen in Bhoot Police, is also awaiting the release of Bunty Aur Babli 2.
