Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan was arrested on Sunday along with two other people by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with a busted rave party aboard a luxury cruise ship.

According to sources, NCB swooped the party when its team members boarded the Cordelia Cruises deluxe ship disguised as passengers. The officials said that the ship was scheduled to travel from Mumbai to Goa and the party began when the ship left Mumbai and was at sea.

The 23-year-old and the two others were among eight people who have been questioned by the NCB and they are expected to be produced before a magistrate court shortly. "All eight, including Aryan Khan, are being questioned. Based on their statements further action will be taken," the anti-drugs agency had said earlier in a statement.

Those arrested have been taken to a government hospital for medical examination. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh was seen leaving his home and heading for his lawyer's office shortly before the arrest was confirmed.
