In Aranyak, an upcoming Netflix crime thriller, Raveena Tandon plays Kasturi Dogra, a driven, hardworking cop solving a murder in a Himalayan small town. The actor, who is making her digital debut with the series, spoke about her character and how she related to her.

Raveena said, “My character Kasturi is trying very hard to prove herself in a man's world. She is trying to balance a career, her home, her children, her husband, her marriage and her life, along with the kind of passion that she has for being a cop. It's something that a lot of women go through. I personally identify with the fact that she wants to give her job her best, she wants to give her career her best, she wants to give her family her best, her children her best and be a great wife, mother and career woman all at once.”

Aranyak is written by Charudutt Acharya and directed by Vinay Waikul. Produced by Roy Kapur Films and Ramesh Sippy Entertainment, the series will stream on Netflix from December 10.
