Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor are teaming up for a new film titled Mr and Mrs Mahi. Sharan Sharma, who made his directorial debut with Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, is helming this film. 

Rajkummar plays a character named Mahendra and Janhvi essays a role named Mahima in the film. From the promo, we can gather that the film is a cricket-based story of a husband and wife.

Mr and Mrs Mahi produced by Karan Johar will release in theatres on October 7, 2022.

Rajkummar Rao also has Badhaai Do, Hit: The First Case, and the Netflix original Monica, O My Darling coming up.

Janhvi meanwhile is part of two South Indian remakes. She is starring in Good Luck Jerry, the Hindi version of Tamil film Kolamavu Kokila and the National-award winning Malayalam film Helen.
