Actor Anshumaan Pushkar (known for web shows like Grahan, Jamtara, and Kathmandu Connection) is ready for his debut film. Titled Ishq Chakallas, the film stars Anushman opposite Mukti Mohan. The romantic comedy also features Zeishan Quadri, Asif Khan, Rajesh Sharma, Dipika Chikhlia, Monica Sharma and Jagdish Raj Purohit.

Ishq Chakallas is helmed by director Hupu Ashok Yadav and produced by Kevin Johnson and Nupur Chandrakar of Green Apple Films.

The film will be shot in Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh. Vishal Mishra and Raj Shekhar are composing the music.

Speaking about the film, Anushmaan states, "Ishq Chakallas is based on a love story and all the madness, wildness, confusion and craziness around it. It revolves around common people who look ordinary but their lives are filled with extraordinary things which gives a thrilling and wholesome experience and creates a special bond with that character. We can call it a romantic comedy but still it entails many flavours in it."

He adds, "With every character, there are different challenges. In this character, I believe the audience is gonna see a character of a genre that I've never explored erstwhile. As an artist, I want to enhance my versatility and with this project, I'm trying to do it. I have received a lot of love from the audience on my previous characters, and I hope people will appreciate this new dimension of my performance."
