Five members of Sushant Singh Rajput's extended family killed in road accident

Five members of Sushant Singh Rajput's family were killed in a road accident on Tuesday morning, according to reports. The family was travelling in a vehicle on a National Highway in Lakhisarai, Bihar when it collided with a truck.

Ten people were travelling in the van, and six of them died on the spot including the driver of the vehicle. The four other passengers are in critical condition and are undergoing treatment in a hospital.

The Hindustan Times quoted Lakhisarai superintendent of police (SP) Sushil Kumar as saying, "It was a massive collision between a truck and a Sumo [an SUV] in which ten persons were returning from Patna. Six persons including the driver were killed on the spot, while four others have been shifted to a hospital in critical condition."

The deceased are identified as Laljit Singh, Amit Shekhar Nemani Singh, Ram Chandra Singh, Baby Devi, Anita Devi, and the driver Preetam Kumar. 

The family was returning home from Patna where they paid the last rites of Geeta Devi, the sister of Sushant Singh's brother-in-law, OP Singh.
