Dibyendu Bhattacharya portrays a nuclear physicist in the upcoming SonyLIV series Rocket Boys. The series stars Jim Sarbh and Ishwak Singh as Homi J Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai respectively. It is directed by Abhay Pannu. 

Rocket Boys is Dibyendu's first brush with sci-fi drama. Speaking about his role in the series, the actor shares, "It is a interesting character. I'm a nuclear physicist in the series. All I can say that it's a role I've never played before and India hasn't seen too many real scientists being portrayed on screen, so it gives me a freehand to dig into my craft. I'm honoured to have been offered this part. I'm excited; it's a story of how brilliant minds changed the course of history.”

Dibyendu will also appear in Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2 and an untitled film with Parineeti Chopra and Hardy Sandhu.
