Samara Tijori on working with Abhishek Bachchan and Chitrangda Singh in Bob Biswas

CE Features

Samara Tijori made her acting debut recently in Bob Biswas. The young actor portrays Mini, the adoptive daughter of contract killer Bob Biswas (Abhishek Bachchan).

In the film, Mini is preparing for her medical entrance test but is under undue pressure. To alleviate the stress, she keeps popping the blue tablets that are a rage among Kolkata's youth.

Samara, daughter of Bollywood actor Deepak Tijori, shares, "It was an amazing experience working with such a great star cast. I still remember I got a call from the casting agency saying I’d be playing Abhishek Bachchan’s daughter and I was extremely excited about it."

On the set, Samara says, Abhishek and Chitrangda treated her like their own daughter. She said, "Chitrangda ma’am used to take care of every little thing for me. She used to remind me to eat on time, rehearse my lines and push me to give my best. She was like my real mother on the sets. I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the sets of Bob Biswas and I’d be more than happy to work with all of them once again.”

Bob Biswas is written by Sujoy Ghosh and directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh. The film is streaming on ZEE5.
