We had reported earlier this month that Deepika Padukone began filming for the Prabhas-starrer, Project K. The latest development is that the Piku actor has wrapped up the first schedule of the film.

Deepika shared an Instagram story bidding farewell to Hyderabad while traveling on a flight. "You were lovely, Hyderabad. Until we meet again," she wrote.

Project K is the working title of the Nag Ashwin directorial, which also features Amitabh Bachchan in a prominent role. The shooting of the film began in July this year, and is expected to continue for a couple of months.

Billed as a sci-fi actioner, the film has cinematography by Dani Sanchez-Lopez and music director Mickey J Meyer, both of whom have worked with Nag Ashwin on his previous directorial, Mahanati. Further details related to the project are currently under wraps.

Meanwhile, Deepika also has The Intern remake, 83, a Shakun Bhatra directorial, and Fighter in her pipeline.
