Commemorating Armed Forces Flag Day, RSVP Movies has announced the release date of Tejas. The film, starring Kangana Ranaut, will release theatrically on October 5, 2022.

Written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara, Tejas is inspired by the first women inducted in combat roles in the Indian Air Force in 2016. The film explores "some of the most challenging combat missions our forces undertake in their effort to keep our country safe from terrorism." Kangana's character in the film is named Tejas Gill.

Tejas was wrapped up in November this year. The film also features Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, and Sankalp Gupta.

Kangana's forthcoming films are Dhaakad and Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda. She is also producing the digital release Tiku Weds Sheru, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur.
