Kerala State award-winning choreographer Lalitha Shobi to work in Shah Rukh Khan-Atlee film

Lalitha Shobi will be working in director Atlee's yet-to-be-titled Hindi movie with Shah Rukh Khan. She won the Kerala State Award for best choreography for Sufiyum Sujathayum,

Lalitha started her dance career at the age of 10 and is a protege of South Indian dance legends Prabhu Deva, Raju Sundaram, and noted Bollywood choreographer Chinni Prakash. She was later discovered and introduced as a dance director by filmmaker SS Rajamouli through his Telugu film Maryada Ramanna.

She has since then choreographed numerous songs in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Among her notable works are Kamal Haasan's Uttama Villain, Vijay-starrer Bigil, and Jyothika film 36 Vayadhinile.

Aside from Sufiyum Sujathayum, Lalitha worked in the Malayalam films Mallu Singh and Happy Sardar.
