Veteran actors Anupam Kher and Nafisa Ali have reunited with Amitabh Bachchan for Sooraj Barjatya's Uunchai. Anupam Kher had last worked with Big B in God Tussi Great Ho (2008). Their pair was most fondly remembered for pairing up in Major Saab 23 years ago. 

Both actors shared pictures with Amitabh Bachchan as they joined the shoot of Uunchai.

Anupam Kher wrote, 

Nafisa Ali shared a black-and-white picture with Big B and wrote, "Memories of ‘Major Saabh’ and the present for ‘Uunchai’"

Uunchai also features Parineeti Chopra with Neena Gupta and Boman Irani. 

Sooraj Barjatya's last directorial was Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in 2015. This is the first time he'd be directing Amitabh on screen. The actor had worked in Sooraj’s grandfather Tarachand Barjatya's production Saudagar in 1973.
