Vishnu Vardhan Induri announces a film franchise

A statement from the makers adds that a star will be roped in to essay the freedom fighter

On the occasion of India's 75th Independence day, producer Vishnu Vardhan Induri has announced a feature film franchise named Azad Hind. The franchise will celebrate the stories of freedom fighters, the makers announced.

The first film in the franchise will be based on the life of Veerangana Durgawati Devi, popularly called as Durga Bhabi, who was inspired by freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh and Chandrasekhar Azad. A statement adds that a popular actor will be roped into the essay the freedom fighter.

Likewise, other details including the cast and the crew are expected to be announced shortly.

Meanwhile, Vishnu Vardhan Induri is currently awaiting the release of two productions, the Tamil film, Thalaivi, starring Kangana Ranaut, and 83, lead by Ranveer Singh.
