Actor Alaya F, who was recently seen in the Rajkummar Rao headliner Srikanth, recently said that although she has received love for her performances over the years, she hasn’t been satisfied as an actor.

“I just want to work on really good stories, with really good directors,” she said. "I am a total director's actor. Whatever my director wants is what I end up giving. I want to work on films that demand something out of me.”

Talking about the performances she has been proud of, the actor shared, “The two performances that I am actually proud of are the two films that I shot the earliest in my career – Jawaani Jaaneman (2020) and Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat (2023), the latter was by Anurag (Kashyap) sir. My performances have received love but as an actor, I haven't been satisfied. So, that's what I am looking for now.”

Alaya is the daughter of actor Pooja Bedi. She forayed into films with 2020’s Jawaani Jaaneman alongside Saif Ali Khan and Tabu. She has starred in films like Freddy (2022), U-Turn (2023) and recently Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (2024).
