The trailer for the upcoming film Memory has been released recently. The film stars Jessica Chastain and Peter Sarsgaard in the lead roles. 

The film features Jessica as Sylvia, a social worker and a single mother, while Peter as  Saul. The film's synopsis reads, "Sylvia is a social worker who leads a simple and structured life: her daughter, her job, her AA meetings. This is blown open when Saul follows her home from their high school reunion. Their surprise encounter will profoundly impact both of them as they open the door to the past."

Apart from the lead actors, the film also stars  Merritt Wever, Brooke Timber, Jessica Harper, Josh Charles and  Elsie Fisher. 

Directed by Michel Franco, the film received wide acclaim at various film festivals. For his portrayal of Saul, Peter won the Best Actor accolade at the Venice International Film Festival.

Memory will hit the New York and LA theatres on December 22 and have a wide release on January 5. An update on the film's release plan in India is yet to be revealed.
