Barry Trailer: First look at the final season shows Barry in a lot of trouble

The Emmy nominated series follows a deadly assassin who infiltrates an acting class to eliminate a target but then finds out that he is drawn towards acting.

The first look trailer for the final season of Barry has been released. The season 4 trailer shows Bill Hader’s Barry inside a prison and his eccentric acting teacher who sent him to jail. As Barry swears vengeance, we see other major characters from the series making a return for the final season. 

Bill Hader, who plays the titular character, and also the writer and producer of the series, had earlier revealed that he would end the series with the upcoming season. The news was also confirmed by Henry Winkler, who plays Barry’s acting coach in the series.

The Emmy nominated series follows a deadly assassin who infiltrates an acting class to eliminate a target but then finds out that he is drawn towards acting. So he abandons his life of crime to pursue a career in acting. 

The official synopsis of the fourth season reads, “Cousineau (Henry Winkler) is hailed as a hero as Barry’s (Bill Hader) arrest has shocking consequences. It’s all been leading up to this - the explosive and hilarious final chapter of Barry.” 

Barry season 4 is currently scheduled to premiere on April 16 on HBO.
