The makers of John Wick 4 have unveiled the trailer of the action film. The fourth installment in the violent action franchise follows Keanu Reeves as the swashbuckling, retired hitman on his bloody path to seek vengeance.
The two-minute trailer, which begins in a church, gives a glimpse of the many action sequences in the film--from one set in a desert in which Wick is seen riding a horse to another gun-fu sequence. "I am gonna need a gun," Wick tells Laurence Fishburne's The Bowery King, after getting dressed in his trademark suit. The new film will take Wick to Paris and some sequences also strongly reminiscent of set-pieces from previous installments, like the one set in a dance club, for instance.
The film also stars Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Lance Reddick, Clancy Brown, Scott Adkins, Hiroyuki Sanada, Ian McShane, and Rina Sawayama.
The film is directed by Chad Stahelski, who helmed the previous three films, and is being produced by Thunder Road Pictures and 87North Productions.
John Wick 4 is set to release on March 24, 2023.
