Apple TV has released the official trailer for its crime drama, Nocturne. The upcoming series is set to premiere on the streamer on October 30.
The trailer for the series introduces incarcerated serial killer Jurek Walter (Stephen Graham), being suspected for a number of killings that is taking place in a small town in Western Pennsylvania, USA. Former soldier-turned-detective Jonah Lynn (Liev Schreiber) and his surrogate daughter FBI Agent Saga Bauer (Zazie Beetz) team up to uncover the mystery that connects the killings and Jurek.
Nocturne is an adaptation of Lars Kepler's novels, Lazarus and The Sandman. Lars Kepler is the pseudonym of Swedish authors Alexandra Coehlo Ahndoril and Alexander Ahndoril, who has written multiple novels with the character Joona Linna as the protagonist.
The cast of the series also includes Bill Camp, Rory Culkin, Chrissy Metz, Poorna Jagannathan and Gary Carr, among others.
Rowan Joffe has created Nocturne. He serves as a writer and showrunner along with John Hlavin. Joffe and Hlavin will serve as executive producers along with Schreiber and Beetz. A+E Studios backs the series in association with Range Studios.
