We had previously announced that Sydney Sweeney will star in and produce the upcoming film Hollow. The film is expanding with the inclusion of Off Campus fame Belmont Cameli. The film is based on the upcoming novel by Lindsey Anderson Beer, who also writes and directs it. The Beer's Lab Brew banner and LuckyChap are co-producing the film with Sweeney's Honey Trap.

The novel is described as a bold reimagining of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, which follows Katrina Van Tassel's perspective. Van Tassel is hailed as one of literature's most iconic heroines, as she is not a trophy to be enamoured by but a pivot in a dangerous mystery and seductive supernatural love triangle. The story, which stars Sweeney as Van Tassel, is a marriage of gothic ambience, erotic thriller and psychological intrigue. The novel's publication is timed for the second half of 2027 to align with the feature adaptation's development.

Coming off his hit role in Prime Video series Off Campus, Cameli was also recently seen in Until Dawn and The Alto Knights. Sweeney, meanwhile, was last seen in Amanda Seyfried in Lionsgate's adaptation of the bestseller The Housemaid, directed by Paul Feig. She will reprise Millie Calloway in the sequel, The Housemaid's Secret, opposite Kirsten Dunst.
