Zee 5 has announced that the Bob Odenkirk led film, Normal, will premiere on the platform on September 4. The film, which opened in Indian theatres on April 17, is written by Derek Kolstad, the writer of John Wick (2014).
The action thriller follows a newly appointed sheriff of a small town who has to investigate a heist gone wrong. Ben Wheatley, who has previously directed Meg 2: The Trench (2023) among other things, has directed Normal.
The cast of the film includes Henry Winkler, Lena Headey, Reena Jolly, Ryan Allen, Billy Maclellan, Brendan Fletcher, Peter Shinkoda, and Jess McLeod, among others.
Normal had its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival 2025, in the Midnight Madness section. OPE Partners, Tradecraft Productions, Le Foole Inc are the banners behind the film. PVR Inox Pictures distributed the film in India.
