Andrew Garfield recently addressed speculation about his involvement in Avengers: Doomsday and talked about why is yet to reach out to Tom Holland over the success of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Speaking to Variety at the recent premiere of his film, The Uprising, Garfield said that he is yet to watch the Spider-Man film and Holland's other recent release, The Odyssey. Calling the film's humongous success "incredible," Garfield shared his excitement to watch Spider-Man: Brand New Day and said that he would speak to Holland after seeing it and The Odyssey.

Andrew Garfield is best known for his titular role in the Amazing Spider-Man franchise. He also reprised the role in Holland's Spider-Man: Now Way Home along with Tobey Maguire in a multiverse narrative.

Garfield does not find it surprising that the recently released Spider-Man film has earned $891 million from theatres in the USA and is expected to be the first film in the history of cinema to earn $1 billion at the North American market.

"Everyone has ownership over him, he’s everybody’s, and he’s decent and he’s good and he’s ordinary, and he’s extraordinary like all of us," the actor said about the web-slinging superhero. He added, "It’s impossible not to see yourself in that character."

Garfield also dismissed rumours about his role reprisal as Spider-Man in the Russo Brothers' upcoming Avengers film. In a different instance recently, Garfield refuted the speculation, although he recognised that people would not take his word for it because he lied about a similar involvement in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Garfield will next be seen in The Magic Faraway Tree, which is set to have its India release on September 04, Friday. Director Ben Gregor's adventure film has already garnered positive reviews after its UK and US release. His upcoming projects also include The Uprising and Artificial.
