This Tuesday marked Zendaya's birthday. On the special occasion, the actor took to social media to express her gratitude to her fans and well wishers. Sharing a picture of herself from years ago, the actor wrote, "I can’t thank ya’ll enough for making the last year of my twenties so beautiful, I have so much to be grateful for and so much to look forward to, with love as always….here’s to 30!!!!!"
The actor's post has since been flooded with birthday wishes, likes, shares, and reposts.
Zendaya has been having quite an eventful 2026 so far. She got married to her longtime Spider-Man franchise co-star Tom Holland earlier in the year. She has had three theatrical releases so far this year: The Drama, The Odyssey, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day. All of these have become commercially successful films.
Reportedly, The Drama grossed more than $130 million from theatres worldwide, whereas The Odyssey minted over $1.5 billion and Spider-Man: Brand New Day earned in excess of $2.3 billion at the global box office.
While the actor has supporting roles in Christopher Nolan's film and the recent Spider-Man outing, both co-starring Tom Holland, she leads The Drama alongside Robert Pattinson. It is worth noting that Pattinson also plays a key supporting role in The Odyssey, alongside Matt Damon, Holland, Anne Hathaway, and Zendaya.
Up next, the actor will be seen in writer-director Denis Villeneuve's Dune: Part Three, where she will reprise her role as a Fremen warrior and the love interest of Timothée Chalamet's character, Paul Atreides. The third film in the space opera saga is set to release alongside Avengers: Doomsday in December. This has already made fans describe it as Dunesday, similar to the 'Barbenheimer' moniker for the simultaneous 2023 releases of Nolan's Oppenheimer and Greta Gerwig's Barbie.
