Actors Juno Temple (Ted Lasso), James McAvoy (The Last King of Scotland, X-Men film series), and Joey King (We Were the Lucky Ones) will be starring in the upcoming sci-fi comedy film Almost You, helmed by Matt Lipsey of Ted Lasso fame. This film marks the reunion between Atonement stars Temple and McAvoy.

The film follows Phoebe, a remarkable robotics engineer, who is grappling with the death of her younger sister Edie. Without much thought, she defies her tech company's rule and uses Edie's messages, videos, and social media posts over the years to create an AI replica of her. Though this initially brings her peace, comfort, and joy, events that follow question whether someone should be brought back to life.

Known for films like Atonement, The Dark Knight Rises, Maleficent films, Temple was recently seen in Venom: The Last Dance, Roofman, and Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die. She is also starring in a lead role in Apple TV's upcoming comedy series The Husbands.

Meanwhile, McAvoy is popular for his role as Professor Charles Xavier in the X-Men films. He has also starred in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Split, Victor Frankenstein, and It Chapter Two. His upcoming films include Faith and Control.
