Winston Duke calls Rashmika Mandanna "incomparable" after presenting Anime Awards 2026 with her

Rashmika Mandanna was back at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026, held in Tokyo to present the Best Animation of the Year award with Winston Duke and was praised by noted Hollywood actor Winston Duke.

The newly-wed star, who was dressed in a black sequined gown from designer Prabal Gurung, presented the award for the second year in a row. Pictures from the event were shared widely on social media. Winston Duke, who also posted pictures, called The Girlfriend actor "incomparable".

"Thank you Crunchyroll for an amazing trip and an incredible time at Anime Awards. This was my first ever trip to Japan, and what an experience it was…it felt surreal to immerse myself in such a rich culture and meet such incredible people. Including sharing this moment with the incomparable Rashmika Mandanna...I had a blast...pure peace!," he wrote.

Rashmika's attire also had floral embellishments embroided in her dress. She paired it with a statement gemstone necklace and kept her hair simple and loose with waves.

This year, the final season of My Hero Academia was awarded the anime of the year award with the blockbuster hit Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle bagging the film of the year prize and best score prize.

The tenth edition of the awards show saw a massive 73 million anime fans registering their vote for the awards, a major jump from last year's 51 million.
