The End of Oak Street Teaser Trailer: Anne Hathaway's house time travels to the pre-historic era

Anne Hathaway stars alongside Ewan McGregor in the sci-fi drama thriller written and directed by David Robert Mitchell

"Our house, our neighborhood, our whole street has moved": These are the first words that Anne Hathaway utters in the teaser trailer of The End of Oak Street as soon as she discovers that her house, along with the entirety of her neighbourhood mysteriously moves to the pre-historic era. She stars alongside Ewan McGregor in the sci-fi drama thriller written and directed by David Robert Mitchell.

As soon as the Platt family takes their car and moves to the end of the street, they discover that it is indeed true as their neighbourhood ends on a cliff with waterfalls and dense wilderness on the other side—And no other humans are to be found. Worse, dangerous dinosaurs now lurk beside their houses which leaves them fighting for their lives to discover the reason behind the cosmic event and the way to get back to modern era.

The film's plotline reads, "After a mysterious cosmic event rips Oak Street from suburbia and transports their neighborhood to someplace unknown, the Platt family soon discovers that their very survival depends on them sticking together as they navigate their now unrecognisable surroundings."

Besides Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor, the film also stars Maisy Stella and Christian Convery.

The upcoming movie is produced by JJ Abrams, Hannah Minghella, Jon Cohen, David Robert Mitchell, Matt Jackson and Tommy Harper. Chris Bender, Jake Weiner, Joanne Lee and Leeann Stonebreaker are executive producers on the film which has cinematography by Michael Gioulakis. The End of Oak Street has production design by Maya Shimoguchi, editing by John Axelrad and music by Michael Giacchino.

The film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures in North America on August 14 and internationally beginning August 12.
