Streamer Netflix plans to launch three documentary films on Brazilian soccer. To kick off the docu trio, veteran striker Ronaldinho will be seen in Ronaldinho: The One and Only. The two other documentaries are USA 94: Brazil's Return to Glory and The Root of the Game.

The three documentaries will premiere in the months leading up to the FIFA World Cup this June.

With Ronaldinho: The One and Only set to bow on April 16, the three-part documentary will feature never-seen-before-seen archive footage and exclusive access to his present-day life. Known for his nickname ‘O Bruxo’, Ronaldinho has represented the national side for 14 years from 1999 to 2013. He boasted an equally illustrious club career with FC Barcelona. Of the numerous honours, Ronaldinho won the most coveted Ballon d'Or.

Produced by Canal Azul and Trailer Films, the documentary has been described as the "story of how a boy from Porto Alegre conquered the world and became one of the most decorated players in history."

The USA 94: Brazil's Return to Glory, which premieres on May 7, follows Brazil's glorious fourth World Cup triumph in 1994. The third documentary, The Root of the Game, which bows on June 8, is set against the backdrop of the Super Copa Pioneer, Sao Paulo's largest and most prestigious amateur soccer tournament. This documentary about the tournament, which potentially changes the lives of players and coaches, will feature some exclusive BTS of the competition.
