Adivi Sesh and Wamiqa Gabbi are expected to comeback to the set of their film G2, the sequel to Goodachari, this July. Recently, the actor shared some of his pictures on Instagram and wrote in the caption, "The calm before the storm... before G2 shoot in July." In the recent past, he took a break from cinema with his friends and family following the release of Dacoit, co-starring Mrunal Thakur. On the other hand, Wamiqa Gabbi has been busy with the promotions of her recent films, Bhooth Bangla and Pati Patni Aur Woh Do.
There has been much buzz around the Goodachari sequel among viewers ever since its announcement. Directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi, the film promises a broader scale as compared to the 2018 espionage thriller even as it continues the journey of Adivi Sesh's spy character.
Speaking about coming back to the set, Adivi Sesh stated, "We've spent a lot of time building this film carefully, and now we're entering the next stretch. Every schedule has taken us a step closer to telling the story the way we envisioned it. I'm looking forward to getting back on set in July because this phase includes some of the most important portions of the film."
About the expectations around the sequel, he added, "The response to the Goodachari franchise has always motivated us to raise our own standards, and that's exactly what we're trying to do with G2. I know fans have been waiting patiently, and I hope the finished film rewards that patience."
Besides Adivi Sesh and Wamiqa Gabbi, G2 also stars Emraan Hashmi. With the upcoming production schedule, its makers are making a steady progress towards the completion of filming, ahead of its highly anticipated release.
