The Odyssey: Imax India has announced that the tickets for Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, will open on June 8, a month before the film's release. Nolan's upcoming epic adventure, which is an adaptation of Homer's poem of the same name, will open in theatres on July 17.

Matt Damon headlines the film as Odysseus, the king of Ithaca, who undertakes a journey back home after the Trojan War, navigating witches, sirens, Cyclops and the fury of the Greek gods.

The cast of The Odyssey also includes Tom Holland as Telemachus (Odysseus' son), Anne Hathaway as Penelope (Odysseus' wife), Robert Pattinson as Antinous, Lupita Nyong’o in a dual role as Helen of Troy and her sister Clytemnestra, Zendaya as Athena and Charlize Theron as Calypso.

Behind the scenes Oscar winner Hoyte van Hoytema and Oscar Winner Ludwig Goransson, who are Nolan regulars, are part of The Odyssey's crew. The former is handling cinematography, while the latter is composing the music.
