Matt Damon's Odysseus is desperate and struggling to get home in the new trailer of Christopher Nolan's much-anticipated The Odyssey. The latest glimpse, released on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, gives first look at Robert Pattinson's Antinous pushing Tom Holland's Telemachus and Anne Hathaway's Penelope to their limits as he tries to take over the throne of Ithaca in Odysseus' absence.

"This is a household waiting for a master," Antinous says as Telemachus expresses strong hope on his father's return. "Ithaca's king is coming back," says Penelope firmly while Antinous denies it. Parallely, we see Odysseus doing all that he can to go home. He is seen recollecting incidents before he faces gaps in his memory. While he can remember that he has a wife and a son, and that he won the Trojan war, he can't seem to find his way back.

His troops also meet the dangerous cyclops Polyphemus where he grabs one of the troops and eats him to pieces.
