Earlier this Wednesday, we reported about the passing of Peabo Bryson, the R&B singer who is also known for his works in classic Disney films. One of Peabo Bryson's most popular songs is the title track for Beauty and the Beast (1991), for which he won a Grammy Award.

Following his passing, Celine Dion took to her Instagram Stories space and shared her thoughts about her 'Beauty and the Beast' co-singer. "I'm heartbroken to hear that we lost Peabo Bryson today. His incredible voice and his kind spirit embodied the beauty of song and performance," Dion wrote.

Dion also underscored the personal qualities of Bryson that she found appealing. "He was so wonderful and generous to me all those years ago, when we recorded 'Beauty and the Beast'. He made me so comfortable, as I was just learning to sing in English," she wrote.

It is worth noting that Celine Dion, best known as the voice behind 'My Heart Will Go On' from James Cameron's Titanic, was in her twenties at the time she sang the Beauty and the Beast title track with Bryson. Adding further about her co-singer, Dion wrote, "He will remain for me always as a real symbol of the joy that music has brought to my life. His voice and his talent will be missed..."

Celine Dion also shared her condolences to Bryson's family. "My heart is with your family, and may you rest in peace, Peabo. Love, Celine xx...," the singer signed off.

Bryson's credits include 'Feel the Fire,' 'I'm So Into You,' 'Reaching for the Sky,' 'Can You Stop the Rain,' and 'If Ever You're In My Arms Again' as well.
