The first trailer for Steven Spielberg's much-anticipated film Disclosure Day was unveiled during the Super Bowl on Sunday. As an extended version of the glimpse revealed in December, the trailer promises many thrilling moments after the public discover the existence of alience, classified information regarding UFO sightings and other details. Emily Blunt and Josh O'Connor play the leads in the film. Like others, they too are caught in the mayhem.
"If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This summer, the truth belongs to seven billion people. We are coming close to … Disclosure Day," read the official description of the film on YouTube.
The film also stars Colin Firth, Eve Hewson and Colman Domingo in key roles.
David Koepp, who worked with Spielberg on War of the Worlds has written the script for Disclousre Day along with Spielberg based on the Spielberg's story. Koepp has also worked on Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Speilberg produces the film under his Amblin Entertainment banner. Kristie Macosko Krieger is also producing the film. The executive producers are Adam Somner and Chris Brigham.
