Director Nick Cassavetes' next is Known Associate

Nick Cassavetes' will work on Known Associate as his next directorial. According to Deadline, the film is an adaptation of No Angel: My Harrowing Undercover Journey to the Inner Circle of the Hells Angels by Jay Dobyns and Nils Johnson-Shelton.

The book follows Dobyns' time as a US Government agent, as he infiltrates the core of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, in order to make a case against them. Set in the years 2001 to 2003, the book also recounts Dobyns' tryst with a broken reality, which forces him to make dire choices.

Known Associate is written by Dobyns, Marc Furmie, Paul Johannson, and Nick Snowden. Corey Large is producing the film under the 308 Enterprise banner. Production on the film is set to begin in mid-2026.

Cassavetes is known for directing films like John Q. (2002), The Notebook (2004), and My Sister's Keeper (2009). He has also collaborated with his wife Heather Wahlquist on multiple films.
