Disney's D23: Ahsoka season two gets premiere date, Ryan Gosling's character from Star Wars: Starfighter revealed

Rosario Dawson will return as the titular character in Ahsoka season two, meanwhile Ryan Gosling will make his first step into this universe in Star Wars: Starfighter

Disney's D23: As part of the announcements from the Star Wars franchise, at Disney's annual D23 convention, the premiere of the second season of Ahsoka was revealed. The upcoming season is set to premiere in January 20, 2027.

Starring Rosario Dawson as the titular character the upcoming season will also feature Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Eman Esfandi, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Lars Mikkelsen, Ariana Greenblatt, with Hayden Christensen returning as Anakin Skywalker.

Meanwhile Ryan Gosling was revealed to be playing pilot Kade Auberon in Star Wars: Starfighter. The upcoming film is directed by Shawn Levy and is set to release on May 28, 2027.

The cast of the film includes Amy Adams, Flynn Gray, Mia Goth, Aaron Pierre, Simon Bird, Jamael Westman, Daniel Ings, and Matt Smith.

Gosling and Levy are also reuniting for Marvel's Ghost Rider. Gosling will play the titular character with Levy directing. Ghost Rider will release in 2028.
