Actors Daniela Melchior (Fast X and The Suicide Squad) and Corey Mylchreest (Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story) are set to lead the upcoming romantic dramedy A Night in Porto. Co-directed by Antonio Sequeira and Anastasiia, the film is under production in Portugal.

The film, penned by Sequeira, revolves around two former lovers (Melchior and Mylchreest) who reunite unplanned on a Christmas night in Porto. Their encounter ignites a journey that leads them to the question whether life gives second chances at happiness.

Melchior has enjoyed back-to-back success with Anaconda, The Suicide Squad, Fast X, and Road House. Last seen in Peter Farrelly's action-comedy Balls Up, she awaits the release of Violent Night 2. Mylchreest, last seen in the Netflix miniseries Agatha Christie's Seven Dials, has Banquet and The Travel Writer in the pipeline.
