The chaotic in-laws return, this time with more comedy and unexpected twists in Focker In-Law as Ariana Grande makes an entry into the franchise in its fourth instalment, determined to win over Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro.

The first trailer showcases Ariana Grande's character Olivia being subjected to a lie detector test by De Niro's character to test her love for Henry Focker (Skyler Gisondo), the now all grown up son of Greg Focker (Stiller). While De Niro warms up to her pretty soon, Greg is unconvinced of her antics and wants to prove that she is not the right one for her son. Meanwhile, Ariana too wants her father-in-law to accept her, but it looks like there is a long, messy and hilarious path ahead.

As reported earlier, De Niro and Stiller are reprising their roles from the original 2000 movie. Blythe Danner and Teri Polo are also returning.

After the first film's box office success, two sequels namely Meet the Fockers (2004) and Little Fockers (2010) were released. In the original movie, Stiller's character endures a lot of painfully awkward hijinks while visiting his girlfriend's parents for the first time. The second film introduced Greg's parents Barbra Streisand and Dustin Hoffman.

Written and directed by John Hamburg, who co-wrote the three previous Meet the Parents films, Focker In-Law also features Owen Wilson, Beanie Feldstein and Eduardo Franco.

Jane Rosenthal and De Niro are backing the film via Tribeca Productions, with Jay Roach through Delirious Media. Stiller and John Lesher are producing under the Red Hour Films banner, and Hamburg is producing through Particular Pictures. Universal will handle domestic distribution, with Paramount Pictures co-producing and managing international rollout.

Paramount Pictures will release Focker In-Law in Indian cinemas on November 27 this year.
