Emily Blunt talks about The Devil Wears Prada 2: It's amazing to come back

Emily Blunt recently spoke about The Devil Wears Prada 2, while promoting her upcoming film The Smashing Machine. The Devil Wears Prada 2, is a sequel to the 2006 film, and sees the return of Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Stanley Tucci, alongside Emily Blunt.

Speaking on The Graham Norton Show, the actor said, "The audiences are so excited about it. It is incredibly sweet. We are trying to keep as much of it under wraps as we can. But it's not just the paparazzi, it is also the fans. I have never experienced this. But its just a 1000 people waiting outside the sets."

Speaking about the reception for The Devil Wears Prada, the actor said, "I was 20 years old, when it came out. I remember my agent saying, 'This is the opening weekend,' and I had to ask him, 'Is that good?' I didn't know what success was. It had this meteoric life. It's amazing to come back to it.

Kenneth Branagh is amongst the new additions to the cast. He will portray the role of the husband of Meryl Streep's character, Miranda Priestley. Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, BJ Novak, Pauline Chalamet, are amongst the cast of the film.

David Frankel who directed the first film, returns to direct the sequel.

The Devil Wears Prada was based on the novel of the same name by Lauren Weisberger. The film follows the story of Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway), the new assistant to the editor of Runway magazine, Miranda Priestly. Blunt played the role of Emily Charlton, Andy's rival in the film.
