Dash Mihok, known for Long Bright River; Dynasty fame Randy J Goodwin; Rhys Cairo seen in The Penguin; Pitch Perfect fame Alexis Knapp; James Frain of Quantum Leap fame; and Jeremy Luke, known for The Irishman, have been added to the cast of the upcoming indie action thriller, Foster.
Backed by Born To Burn Films, the film is led by James Franco, Ron Perlman and Natalie Burn and is currently in production, having commenced in August.
In the 1980s-set action thriller Foster, Donald "Don" Foster (Franco) is a troubled man haunted by his past, struggling with sobriety, and seeking peace. However, his life is turned upside down when June (Burn) leaves her young son on his doorstep, dragging him back into the violent underworld he thought he'd escaped. With his former boss, ruthless crime lord Brooks (Perlman), hot on his heels, Don must fight to protect the boy, confront his dark past, and face the consequences of his actions.
Foster is helmed by Emmy winner Timothy Woodward Jr, known for directing Studio City.
