Minka Kelly's Sydney makes the one mistake of sleeping with a handsome French man played by Tom Wozniczka, without knowing he's her client, in the trailer for Champagne Problems. Netflix unveiled the trailer for the upcoming American romantic comedy film written and directed by Mark Steven Johnson on Wednesday.
On persistence from a friend, Sydney decides to take a break from work to have a look at the Eiffel Tower in Paris one night. She meets the man of her dreams there, and they sleep together. But he turns out to be her client's son, who is against her company's deal with his, a champagne brand. With their romance being irresistible and their professional differences getting in the way, the young couple are stuck in this will-they-won't-they romance.
The official description for the film reads, "Sydney is a determined executive who travels to France to secure the acquisition of a world-renowned champagne brand before Christmas, but her plans are upended when she falls into a whirlwind romance with a charming Parisian—who turns out to be the founder’s son."
Thibault de Montalembert, Sean Amsing, Flula Borg, Astrid Whettnall, Xavier Samuel, Mitchell Mullen, and Maeve Courtier-Lilley round out the supporting cast of Champagne Problems. Backed by Stephanie Slack and Margret H Huddleston under the Grumpy Entertainment and Off Camera Entertainment banners, the film is all set to premiere on the streamer on November 19.
